They work by creating a current of water which you swim against plus this flow can also be used to create resistance for a full range of aqua aerobic exercises. On all but the simplest models the speed of the current is adjustable to cater for different swimming abilities, however the maximum flow speed varies significantly from model to model. Because of this it is important to choose a model that matches your swimming ability and to do that we would encourage everyone to come along and have a test swim in our demo models.
